Our Church Coffee Mornings
Our sister Churches, our town, our country, our world.
Text Box: Tonight John Bell, the leader of the Iona Community and the author of many of the best-known hymns in “United In Worship”, is visiting Dursley Tabernacle this weekend as part of their Bicentenary Celebration. Tonight he is leading a Big Sing, and it was agreed at the Church Meeting that we would go there tonight instead of our own service. Consequently there will be no service here tonight. If you need or can offer a lift please speak to any steward. (We apologise for the short notice, which was not our fault.)
Circuit Notices So much is happening in our new Gloucestershire Circuit that we are now producing a Weekly Circuit Newsletter. A copy is on the notice-board next to the serving hatch.
Monthly Newsletter Items for the Monthly Newsletter for DecemberJanuary (please note!) are due NOW to Philip Revill. Thank you.
Advent Supper This now annual event is to be hosted by the Wednesday Fellowship at 7.00pm for 7.30pm on 26 November in the church hall. All are welcome, and a list is on notice-board 6 (by the kitchen hatch) for you to sign up, with any special dietary needs. There are no tickets, but a basket will be put out on the night for any donations. The list will be posted until next Sunday 23rd November.
Coffee Morning My understanding is that the Coffee Morning for this Saturday has been cancelled, because of the Eleanor Trust event earlier in the month; but please listen carefully to the Steward this morning in case I am wrong.
