Luncheon Club

The Luncheon Club holds a lunch on the first Wednesday of every month 'for those who normally eat alone', or in a similar position.

The Club has been running now once a month for many years. There is a fairly regular clientele, but since the majority are elderly or infirm inevitably there are a few missing each month. We usually seat between twenty and thirty.

By no means all of them are from our Church - indeed for some of our members this is the only link they now have with any church.

It is organised by Marion Smith, and the food is produced by a rota of excellent cooks from the Church. There are other important helpers who wash up, clear up, and provide transport for the more infirm of our guests.
